Day 64 of 365 days of our life on our small family farm...

The Prez of Iran on twitter tonight said, that we should declair a no pie zone for fat Americans, what's next no beer path way...surely not.

News From The Doghouse and gonna rule the world, not that I want to....

The day started out early without Elijah tickling my feet, he was busy doing stuff...Elisha slept in the bed with us all night, it was storming kind of bad I guess...collected eggs from the quail and did all the peeps on the back porch, it was cold and rainy...then I had to hook up the horse trailer because we headed off to West Plains to see about picking up wood for the roof project....I got wet and froze, there was a good wind chill, the temp was @37F with the chill like 25F...so we headed off to the big city and it was dismal....we stopped at Thayer and picked up matzah for Pesach/Passover to you heathens

Then we were off again, munching on our goodies and snacks, seen the little wagon again for Wiggle, and had an adventure at Meek's lumber yard....afterwords we went to Chen's Garden and had the smorgasborg of chanchino odoga cuniima and made friends with the owner, a nice lady and yada yada yada....we ate there years ago when we 1st got here and it has been awhile since we last ate there....they have a cool fish tank aquarium there too....then headed for home via Lanton and stopped at the Lanton Mall and our pitstop place and then home in the rain...

Got home and unhitched the trailer from the van, during the lightning so everyone could go to the 4H orama event, I couldn't go because I needed to feed the barn livestock, so I missed Elijah winning a 1st place ribbon singing a Wiggles song tune...everything else seemed to go wrong again as usual, with some roosters from the freebie cage escaping....wish I had video of them....there were 2 fighting killing each other all bloody and finally one running away with the victor and a 3rd rooster in pursuit, probably going to kill the vanquished and then rape the carcass, they are vicious primordial reptiles despite what science may have programmed you to believe....as this was going on, 2 others were eating and pecking at a do-do hen that was killed by all of their gang banging....now this escape was after they had eaten, and went through their food pile of corn chops grain and hopping over a tub of water, with food still available in the cage....they are institutionalized psychotic, like all of these factory produced and designed birds....the cage is a modified rabbit cage that we picked up years ago at the swap meet from a widow....we bought everything there that she had a helping neighbor take up to the swap for her...I never asked for a price reduction just what did she want for the whole thing since that was what she was trying to accomplish by selling everything....all I really wanted was a buck rabbit and maybe a cage...we did not have room to all everything home but we managed to sell everything that we did not want, it was an interesting and strange day that day

back then we were selling raising rabbits for pets and we ended up supplying all the 4H bunny rabbits that year for Fulton County, and all the winners were ours from this purchase...not our entries, but other kids from other 4H clubs like Mammoth Spring's club...a long story that year in itself...

well did the chores in the barn, in the out of whack order because the horses were in the barn again, sheltered out from the hail when we came home I guess....collected a Malaysian sereum, a silky, a Curly, a guinea, and some cool looking duck eggs, plus the usual batch of free food eggs....finished all of it at 6:55PM this evening...a long day and I still got firewood to day
